My Dog
If you look closely at some of my Globe drawings (not all of them — she won’t consent to all of them), you may spot my spotted dog, Foxy Singer.
Foxy is a six-year-old Jack Russell Terrier mix, from a litter abandoned in Mississippi and transported to a rescue organization in MA, via which we adopted her after seeing her online. We can say we rescued her, but frankly she was an exceedingly cute puppy and she was not going to go without a home. It’s just really nice that her home is here, because she makes us happy.
If I am working, the very expressive Foxy, who understands a ton of English, is probably by my side, sighing and protecting both me and the household. Don’t even think about being a lump of snow sliding from the roof. You will be reprimanded.
