About Beth

Beth Wolfensberger Singer has been a regular cartoonist for the Boston Sunday Globe Ideas section for the past nine years. Before that, she worked as a nonfiction children’s book editor, a magazine writer, a newspaper writer, and a business reporter, at lots of places in the Boston area including Boston magazine and the Boston Phoenix. A native Californian who studied both art and writing at Pomona College, she has also written for various national publications such as Salon, Harper’s Bazaar, and The New York Times Book Review. Actually, she’s done enough writing that it seems weird to her that she is composing this in the third person. Hi. I’m Beth. I make drawings with words, in order to make sense of what we’re going through. Thank you for visiting my site.
